Imagine

Lord, thanks for fries and cucumbers in vinegar,

the blackbirds from tree by steel, lonely in the neighborhood

for the rumbling of trams, ambulance sirens,

for ergonomic seat and extension cord from winter …that reaches

end of the hall of my apartment …derailed wagon style

for the hood from my jacket and the gel of pen

for detergent dishwashing and surround speakers and my collection of cosmetic on shelf

for free newspapers at the subway entrance and telescopic tooth pain

for the smell by the world and increasingly diluted colors

and the howling of wilderness… Doberman of the neighbor’s

for inertia of afternoon with core by imminent agony

and plastic cutlery

for pseudo-joy that greets me formally in the mirror

Lord, thank you for all that are seemingly trivial but cost me a fortune

for the tinkled by my left ear and artificial flowers of mini-garden under the window

Thanks…
