Wasted fruits

valeriu dg barbu

trilingual text: english, italian and romanian

Usually we find too little love in a love poem
a waste of time late consumed, or a desire always postponed
Entangles between them the words… and sift finely the emotion
What remains from the ashes and burnt clay does not claim auras
Only the imminent moment at love deserves the mortified sublime
The rest is the echo diluted, does write more, does read more,
The poems are the fallen fruit in the intact grass…

Frutti sprecati
